Step 2 – Once the State Department authenticates the certificates with their signature, then the certificate is passed on to the Ministry of External Affairs, who after verification of the details puts the MEA Stamp or Apostille sticker and Signature on the Certificate.

Step 3 – After the MEA verification and authentication the certificates, the certificates are then verified by the Embassy or Consulate of host country the person is travelling to or located at.
